Welcome to our forum!

I have wanted to create an electronic place whereby we can all learn from each other and exchange ideas for some time. I hope that this forum grows organically and becomes a great source of support for all of us. I really want it to be a simple place but as I always there are a few rules which we all need to follow and the most important rules is “Please do not post any patient identifiable data”. If you are posting any photos (OCTs, retinal images, photos of lumps or bumps or eyelids) please make sure you have obtained permission from your patients. I will moderate and if you come across posts which you think should be deleted, please let me know ASAP. You can use search facility if you are looking for specific condition.

I have divided the forum to sections to make it easier for all of us.

You can post cases or cases whereby you want other colleagues’ opinion or simply want to know if others have come across such cases. Please do share interesting cases!

The sections are self-explanatory. I hope to have likeminded colleagues who will help me to improve the website. Suggestions are always welcomed.

I hope we can all learn something from each other, strengthen our Scottish ophthalmic community and ultimately improve patient care.
